The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs Cheats

With The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs we got some fun new furry friends to hangout with in the game, plus a new career type with the vet clinic that your sims are able to run and save little animal lives. The cheats for this pack include skill cheats, pet relationship cheats, and perk points cheats that you need to know.

Skill Cheats

There are two new skills that your sims are able to learn in The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, the vet skill and the pet training skill. Pet training is a 5 level minor skill with the vet skill being a 10 level major skill. The below cheat codes will allow you to completely max out your sims skills, but you can change the number at the end to whatever level of the skill you want your sims to have.

Vet Clinic Perk Point Cheats

When running a vet clinic you are going to be unlocking new spots for perk points so you can get rewards to help your vet clinic run more smoothly and make small things easier in the clinic.

Pet Friendship Cheats

Some of the most popular cheats in The Sims 4 (after money cheats, of course) are the relationship cheats in the game. Thankfully, when we got cats and dogs we also got new cheats to be able to change our relationships with our pets. These cheats are a bit more complicated to explain, but I will try my best after you see it.

Okay, okay. I know this cheat looks crazy but let me explain. First off, you want to have the sims name in the first section so let’s use Bob Pancakes and a dog name Sniffles McGee as an example so you can see it in action. You’ll want to add Bob pancakes to the first section, and Sniffles to the second so it looks like this:

modifyrelationship Bob Pancakes Sniffles McGee X LTR_SimtoPet_Friendship_Main

Then, you want to change the X before LTR to whatever value you want to change. If you want to add 100 friendship points you’ll put 100, if you want to add 50 points you’ll put 50. If you want to decrease friendship points you can put a negative number like -100 or -50. It would look like this complete:

modifyrelationship Bob Pancakes Sniffles McGee 100 LTR_SimtoPet_Friendship_Main

Final Thoughts

These are some very important, and very fun cheats to understand. Just being able to immediately max out your relationship with your pup or cat is worth it completely. These cheats are totally necessary to learn to have a great time with Cats & Dogs. Happy playing!
