Sims 4 Actor Career Cheat & How to Use It
When we get new expansion packs for The Sims 4 we often get brand new careers for our sims to play through. For The Sims 4: Get Famous we got the super fun actor career where your sims can become a famous movie star. However, they need to grind through boring levels of the career first so you may want to use the Sims 4 Actor Career Cheat.
Using this awesome career cheat is going to let you stop doing boring commercials for soap, or dressing like a pirate for who knows what reason and let your sims make much more money and have so much more fun. You’ll even be able to get famous more quickly if you skip past the slow parts of this career.
How to Enable Cheats
There is an issue with many players where cheats just decide they don’t to work, but sometimes that’s just happening because you’ve failed to enable cheat codes. Doing this just lets the game know that you have the intention to use cheats and gets it ready to make sure it’s going to work. You’ll first want to open the cheat box:
- PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
- Mac: Command + Shift + C
- Console: All Four Triggers
Then you’ll see a white box open at the top of the screen and you’ll want to type in testingcheats true and hit enter and the game lets you know cheats are going to work now and you can use any cheat code you please!
How to Use The Sims 4 Actor Career Cheat
When we’re chatting about career cheats there are two types of cheats career cheats you can try. You have the option to cheat to give your sims a promotion and get them further in their career, or you can cheat to give them a demotion and push them backwards in their career.
Actor Career Promotion Cheat
To promote your sims who are currently in the acting career you’ll want to open the cheat box, make sure your cheats are enabled, and then type in careers.promote Actor and hit enter. This will immediately give you a promotion!
If you want to do more than one level, hit the up arrow and the cheat should reappear without needing to retype it and hit enter again and do that as many times as you’d like.
Actor Career Demotion Cheat
If you’re in the mood to make your sims suffer, you can choose to set them backwards in their career. You’ll be using essentially the same cheat code but you’ll swap out the promote for demote. To demote your sims in the actor career you’ll want to use careers.demote Actor and hit enter and it will bring you back.
