There is one cheat that you can use if you want to have a specific type of money and that’s the money X cheat. This one lets you add or remove money from your sims by choosing exactly how much money they will have in their bank account.
To use this cheat code you need to make sure your cheats are enabled which we discussed earlier and then type in the word money followed by whatever amount of money you want in your sim’s bank account. For example, you could give your sims a hundred thousand dollars by typing in money 100000 and hitting enter.
What About Getting Free Real Estate?
There are times when you may not want to add money to your sim’s household funds but you want to move them to a lot or house that they can’t afford, and that’s where free real estate comes in. This cheat is used when you’re in the moving menu where you pick a home either right after you create a new family or when you choose to move your sims.
For this cheat code you just need to enable your cheats which we discussed earlier and then go ahead and type in freerealestate on and hit enter. Then you’ll be able to move into any open lot on the map without adding money to your sim’s funds.
If you want to go back to spending your own money on a home, you can use freerealestate off to turn the cheat off.
