The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle Cheats

Every single time we get a new pack for The Sims 4 there are a ton of new cheats that are created for us to create the exact world we want without ever having to put in the effort.

The cheats for The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle include cheats to change the eco footprint, cheats to increase your influence points, and of course career and trait cheats.

Cheat Codes to Change Eco Footprint

The biggest aspect of The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle is the environmental changes that occur as you make certain decisions in your game. There are 3 levels of eco footprints which are green, neutral, or industrial.

These cheats can be used at any time, and in any neighbourhood so that you can change your current eco footprint. It is the same cheat code for all 3 but each type of eco footprint will have a different number at the end.

Important Note: To use this cheat code, make sure that cheats are turned on by opening up the cheat dialogue box with ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and use testingcheats true so that you can turn on cheats.

Career Cheats

There are two new careers that we are given with The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle. The first is a regular career, Civil Designer, and the second is a new branch of the Freelancer career where you can be a Freelance Maker.

To use the cheats you want to make sure that you have cheats turned on. First, open the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and type in testingcheats true and hit enter. This is the cheat that enables all other cheats to work.

Trait Cheats

There are some traits that you have to earn in the game, or that only apply to NPC sims unless you cheat to get them. These cheats are awesome so you can influence your sim’s personality without having to earn them yourself.

To use these cheats open the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c and using the cheat testingcheats true to enable all cheats in the game. Then type in any of these cheats to gain the trait. If you wish to remove these traits, you can change the word equip for remove.

Skill Cheats

With The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle we have been giving two new skills that your sims can work on. The first one is Juice Fizzing which is a minor skill with only 5 levels, and the second is Fabrication which is a major skill with 10 levels.

These cheats are meant to let you give your sim any level of these skills that you want. To use these, you want to open up the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard then type in testingcheats true and hit enter to enable all cheats.

The cheats in these charts will max out these skills, if you wish to get a different level change the number 5 or 10 to whatever skill level you want.

Neighbourhood Action Plan Cheats

One of the best parts about Eco Lifestyle are the Neighborhood Action Plans that you can enact to make changes to your sim’s world. You can have sims experience free love, wear bags on their heads, and so much more.

To get these action plans to happen without cheats you need to work hard and try and get votes, however, you can cheat to enact or repeal any of these plans.

To do this you want to open up the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and then turn on cheats by using the testingcheats true cheat and hit enter. Then hit esc to close the dialogue box.

These cheats are used by holding down shift and clicking on either the Voting Board or your sim’s mailbox.

To enact an action plan you can choose Instant Enact and to get rid of an action plan you can choose Instant Repeal from shift clicking on the mailbox. You’ll get to choose from a list of plans to start immediately.

Cheats to Gain Influence Points

Influence points are important for your sims to be able to enact neighborhood action plans and these are pretty easy to get, but you can cheat them as well!

To use this cheat you want to make sure that cheats are turned on by opening up the cheat box with ctrl + shift + c and then turn on cheats by typing in testingcheats true then hit esc on your keyboard to close the box.

You’ll then go to the Voting Board or to a mailbox and hold down shift and click on either of these and you’ll have the option to Give Sim Influence and you’ll get 15 influence points.

Cheats to Get Bits and Pieces

Before you can use this cheat you are going to need to own a Fabrication Machine which will cost your sim 1,800 simoleons.

Once you own this machine or are on a lot where there is one you want to enable cheats by opening the cheat box with ctrl + shift + c and typing in testingcheats true and then using esc to close the box.

Then you want to hold down shift and click on the fabrication machine and choose Give Bits and Pieces and you’ll get 50 bits and 50 pieces.

Cheats to Change the Community Space

In each neighbourhood in Evergreen Harbour there is a big community lot. This lot has the ability to change completely to be a marketplace, community garden, or a maker space. You have to vote and put in effort to be able to change these spaces without cheats.

To cheat the community space you want to open up the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and type in testingcheats true and hit enter, then hit esc on your keyboard to close the dialogue box.

You can then go to the voting board or to your mailbox and hold down shift and click on the board or mailbox and you’ll have the option to Instant Enact Community Space Project.

You’ll then have the option to choose which type of space you want, either a marketplace, a maker space, ora. community garden.

Death Cheats

These cheats are going to turn your sim instantly into a ghost and give them the certain type of death you choose, which can influence how they act as a ghost.

To use these cheats be sure to enable cheats first, by clicking ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and enable cheats by typing testingcheats true and hitting enter, then enter the code you want to use.
