The Sims 4: Strangerville Cheats
Strangerville is one of the weirdest packs we’ve ever gotten for The Sims 4 and added a whole new type of gameplay where you need to fulfil a story line. This is odd for a sandbox type game like The Sims, but can be very fun. This type of gameplay makes cheats pretty necessary, so there are a few you may need in this process.
How to Cheat
Before you can use a lot of the cheats in the game, you need to first enable cheats in The Sims 4. To do this you want to open up the cheat box by typing in ctrl + shift + c and typing testingcheats true and hitting enter. The game should let you know that cheats are enabled
Career Cheats
When you put a sim in the new military career you have the option to use a cheat to give your sim an instant promotion so you can skip the actual work and get your sims making more money.

There is only one new trait that came with Strangerville and that is of course the paranoid trait.

Give Your Sim the Infection
The infection in The Sims 4: Strangerville is a huge part of the story and is based on a hidden trait that sims are temporarily given. If you want to just give your sim the infection, or remove it, you can easily use traits to do so.

Become a Hero of Strangerville
If you want to give your sim the Hero of Strangerville cheat that you get when completing the story, you can use this cheat code to just give your sim the trait without having to do the work.

Bloom the Bizarre Fruit
A way to make a bit of money, or further your storyline quickly is to use a cheat to bloom the bizarre fruit plants that are all around the world.
To use this cheat you want to make sure you have enabled cheats and then you should be able to hold down shift and click on those fruit plants around the world and you’ll be able to change it into a bloomed state, allowing for it to be harvested.
How to Find Objects in Debug
In The Sims 4: Strangerville, your sim sim is going to need to collect things like evidence, a lab keycard, and a hazmat suit among other things. If you’re working through the story line you may just want to change it up and use the buy debug cheat to find these items instead.
To use this cheat first open up the cheat box by hitting ctrl + shift + c and typing in bb.showhiddenobjects and hit enter. Then you are able to go into the build mode catalog and search for the specific item you want (i.e., hazmat) and it should show up.
Final Thoughts
If you bought The Sims 4: Strangerville you are definitely my type of person, it’s a weird pack but can be extremely fun to play through and give you a weird inspiration to start playing in a different way. Hopefully these cheat codes help!
