How to Complete the Expert Nectar Maker Aspiration in The Sims 4: Horse Ranch
With new DLC comes fun new aspirations for you to play with. The best part about aspirations is that they are a walk-through for new packs so you can get deep into specific new parts of the pack.
The Sims 4: Horse Ranch came with two aspirations, the first is the championship rider aspiration and this one, the expert nectar maker aspiration. Let’s dive deep into everything you need to know to complete this aspiration with ease.
All About The Expert Nectar Maker Aspiration
This aspiration has one single section in it that only has three items to complete, so this aspiration won’t be too much of a grind. To finish this you’ll need to:
- Achieve Level 5 Nectar Making Skill
- Make 50 Excellent Bottles of Nectar
- Make §100,000 Selling Nectar

How to Complete The Expert Nectar Maker Aspiration
There are three parts of getting this aspiration completed, let’s go over each section individually so you can get some tips on getting this done.
Achieve Level 5 Nectar Making Skill
To start earning the nectar making skill you’ll need to purchase the Rootin’ Fruit’n Nectar Maker from the buy catalog for §350. There are only five levels of this skill so finishing this will have your sim maxing out the skill.

To earn this skill you just need to make as much nectar as possible, easy peasy.
Pro Tip: Purchase the Rancher’s Stackable Nectar Storage Rack for §300 so you have a place to store your nectar that’s organized!
Make 50 Excellent Bottles of Nectar
There are a lot of factors that go into the quality of items that your sims make, so you need to understand this stuff! The first thing is the mood your sim is in, if your sim is feeling sad because their husband just died, don’t make nectar. The quality won’t be good. It’s smart to make them feel one of the positive emotions like focused, inspired, or confident.

You also need to think about the quality of the items you’re making nectar with. Honestly, nectar making and gardening go hand in hand. You’ll want some high quality produce to put into your nectar so evolve your plants and take good care of them to ensure your sims can complete this pretty easy task.
Pro Tip: Make sure you clean your nectar maker this can have an effect on quality!
Make §100,000 Selling Nectar
Once you start making tons of nectar you can sell it pretty easily. There is an easy way to sell it directly from your sims inventory which is the easiest way but you sometimes won’t get as much money and it doesn’t add to realism.
I prefer to sell my nectar at the general store because it feels more realistic and fun to me. You also have the option of selling it right to the Mysterious Rancher who comes around once in a while but the only problem is you never know where he’ll be or when.
To earn more money from your nectar you need to make sure it’s higher quality. Use high quality ingredients and make sure your sim is in a good mood. You also have the option of aging your nectar through storing them on the Rancher’s Stackable Nectar Storage Rack.
Rewards for Completing The Expert Nectar Maker Aspiration
Whenever you finish an aspiration in The Sims 4 you are going to be given a reward and the reward for this one is the nectar know-it-all reward trait.
The description for this trait reads “These sims can craft pre-aged nectar, have an iron bladder when it comes to drinking nectar, and their negative emotions have less influence on their current mood.”
This aspiration reward trait isn’t going to have a huge impact on your sims day to day life, it’s not super useful except for negative emotions having less influence on your sims mood. I’m the type that finishes multiple aspirations so my sim can be a super sim, so this isn’t one I’d go back to just for the reward trait.

That’s all you need to know about the expert nectar maker aspiration! The best thing about this aspiration is that part of its goals including earning money, which is great because you can build up your sim’s lives with that money as you earn it. How do you feel about this aspiration?
