There is a lot going on in The Sims 4: Werewolves and one of those things is a new infection, Werebies, and if you don’t want to become a werewolf you need to know how to cure werebies in The Sims 4. This is a pretty simple task and can be done with a few simple tasks, so don’t worry too much.

If you don’t manage to cure your werebies in time, you can always work to find the cure or use werewolves cheats to remove the werewolf trait from your sim entirely.

What is Werebies?

Werebies are a brand new disease that came with The Sims 4: Werewolves and are one of four ways that your sims can become a werewolf. This is the only method that has a way you can cure it before it gets too far, you just need to make sure that you do it quickly.

When a sim has werebies they are going to have an angry buff and be foaming from their mouth and just overall not feel great, so it isn’t a fun time for your sims.

How To Get Werebies in The Sims 4

Getting werebies is actually pretty easy if you know how to do it. What you’ll want to do here is find Greg! Greg is a character in werewolves who lives in an old broken trailer and his living area is denoted by signs that are telling you to stay away.

If you click on the signs and choose to investigate, Greg will appear! You’ll want to go up to Greg and provoke him until he starts to fight with you and there’s a high chance that this fight will result in your sims getting werebies.

If you managed to contract the disease you’ll get a werebies buff that says “Sim is feeling irate after that brush with werewolves. They feels a bite strange… are they coming down with something?”

When your sim has the disease they aren’t going to look great and will be foaming at the mouth and will probably be covered in marks from their fight with Greg.

How to Cure Werebies in The Sims 4

The very first thing you should do with your sim if they contract werebies is go to the community board in Moonwood Mill and view werebies advisory. This is going to give you information on werebies and the two ways that you have to be able to cure it.

Important Note: Werebies works quick, you need to immediately go and do these things when your sims contracts it, don’t wait!

When you click this interaction this pop up will appear telling you to stay away from areas marked by signs also known as avoid Greg at all costs but it’s too late for that. It then goes on to tell you that you have two options, go get the remedy or try a natural solution.

Cure Werebies with Remedy

Your first option is to head to the Grimtooth Bar & Bunker lot on the right side of the map in Moonwood Mill, this lot is really cool and you’ll want to head to the bartender who is in the bus bar.

To get the remedy you want to click on the bartender not on the bar. It’s going to come up as ask for werebies remedy and the bartender will come out from behind the bar and give you a mysterious beverage.

Once you drink this concoction that the bartender gives you, you’ll see your sim change entirely back to normal, stop foaming at the mouth and you will get a notification that says “Sim has been cured of Werebies! Try to be more careful next time or things might get a little hairy…”

Cure Werebies Without Remedy

You also have the option to try to cure werebies without going to the bartender for the remedy and use more natural options. There are three things you can choose to do in this method, and sometimes it only takes one to get the job done and sometimes they may fail.

The first thing you can do is head into your sim’s bathroom and click on the toilet and choose try to force werebies out. At this time your sim is going to go throw up in the toilet and hopefully be cured.

Your next option is to click on a shower and try to cleanse self of werebies which is an easy option too.

Your final option is to get your sims over to a treadmill and try to run werebies off. This one is worth it just because your sims look hilarious running on a treadmill with their mouth foaming.

Whenever one of these tasks is successful your sims are going to get that same notification letting you know that their werebies cure has worked.

There are many ways to become a werewolf but the werebies option is the most fun. Maybe you were attempting to woohoo Greg and it went wrong, maybe your sim went for an innocent stroll and managed to get themselves beat up, whatever the reason for being near Greg, werebies is probably the answer.
