The Sims 4: Get Famous Cheats

Get Famous is a really fun expansion pack for The Sims 4 that lets your sims become actors, befriend celebrities and live that famous lifestyle in Del Sol Valley. With every expansion pack comes a new set of cheats for those packs so you can cheat simple things like careers and skills to more pack specific items like fame perks and quirks.

How to Turn on Cheats

Before you are actually able to use cheats in The Sims 4 you have to make sure that you have cheats enabled. To do this you want to hit ctrl + shift + c on PC or hit all four triggers on console to open up the cheat dialogue box.

Then, you’ll want to type in testingcheats true and hit enter and the game should let you know that cheats are enabled and you should be good to go with cheats working nicely.

Skill Cheats

There are two new skills that came with The Sims 4: Get Famous and those are the acting skill and the media production skill. Below are the cheats you need for those two skills. For both, there is an X where you are able to put a number to make it whatever level of the skill you’d like to have.

For acting, there are 10 levels of the skill so you can put any number between 1 and 10 and for media production there are only 5 levels so you want a number between 1 and 5.

Career Cheats

There is one new career and one new kid or teen after school activity for your sims to go through. You can use the following cheats to promote or demote your sims in these activities.

Trait Cheats

There are traits that you’ll get from completing the new aspirations in the game that you are able to cheat to get without having to actually finish the aspiration and give your sim the career immediately.

Friendship Cheats

There is a whole new type of person in The Sims 4: Get Famous, a celebrity! It’s hard to befriend celebrities, but you are able to use the traditional friendship cheats to become friends with these sims. You can learn how to use friendship cheats here to be best friends with Judith Ward.

Give Yourself Fame Points

If you want to give your sim all of the fame perks, you can use a cheat to give your sim fame points so you can earn more than you can without cheats. This will allow you to purchase all of the fame perks instead of just a few and go down every lane to be an epic level of celebrity. To use this you’ll want to change the X to whatever number of fame points you’d like to have.

Before you are able to cheat to give yourself any of the fame perks, you’ll first need to know what your sim’s sim ID is. You can learn how to get your Sim ID here so you can use these cheats. Public Image Cheats

A big part of Get Famous is the new reputation system where your sims can have a good or bad reputation. You are able to use a shift click cheat to change it. Once you have cheats enabled you can hold down shift and click on your sim. There will be a set reputation option where you can choose to set your reputation to anything from Pristine to Atrocious.

Final Thoughts

Cheats really do make The Sims 4 and make it so much easier to play the game, as well as streamline so much that just takes too much time. You can learn so much about the game by skipping some of the more mundane aspects of the sims. Happy playing!
