Create a Werewolf in Create-a-Sim

The first and easiest option is for you to just go ahead and create your werewolf in create-a-sim. You’ll go to the add sim button and go to the occult section and want to click on the werewolf option. Then you’ll get to choose an aspiration, traits and can even paint things like a moustache on your werewolf if you want!

Be Born a Werewolf

The next way for your sims to become a werewolf is through being born from werewolf parents. The interesting thing about this is that there are dormant werewolves that don’t get their abilities even if their parents are werewolves. There are ways to get these sims to have their abilities like swimming in the lake in Moonwood Mill during a full moon.

There are also greater-blood werewolves that get more abilities and will start off better than werewolves created in CAS. You won’t truly see any of the werewolf abilities be realized until your sims age up to a teenager, as children and toddlers can’t be werewolves.

You will see cute things with younger werewolves though, like toddlers and children biting their toys instead of just holding them or getting really happy when they fight with their siblings.

Get Bitten on Purpose

The next way for you to go ahead and become a werewolf in The Sims 4 is through choosing to be bitten by another werewolf who has the Cursed Bite ability. The easiest sim to do this with is Rory, the Alpha Pack leader of the Wildfangs Wolf Pack.

First you’re going to need to have a decent relationship with the sim you want to bite you, sims aren’t just going to bite anybody just because you asked.

Eventually you’ll see the asked for cursed bite interaction appear in the friendly interactions and when you click on this the other sim will either agree or disagree and if they agree it’ll happen. The other sim will go right in and bite your sim and a part of your sim will start glowing red.

Your sims are going to see two new buffs appear with the first one being an energized buff that says There’s a New Wolf in Town showing that your sims is excited to become a wolf.

The other buff you will see is painful bite that is an uncomfortable buff and this is the one you should pay attention to. This one is going to show you what stage of the process you’re in and as the time goes down and this one expires, the insatiable hunger buff will appear.

When insatiable hunger appears for your sim you’re going to want to go to a kitchen or the bar in Moonwood Mill because your sim is going to consistently get hungry. You’ll want to feed them a ton pretty much nonstop.

After insatiable hunger your sims are going to start feeling ravenous hunger that will be the last part before your sim turns. They will be even more hungry so stay near food as much as possible.

After the ravenous hunger buff runs out your sims will get up from wherever they’re sitting and howl to the sky in the cutest way and the actual change will start to happen.

At this point you’re going to get a notification that says “Watch out! Sim is transforming! Werewolf Sims who reach max Fury will erupt with rage and start rampaging. During this time, werewolves have very little control of themselves and will give into their beastly instincts” and this is a great warning of what’s to come.

At this point you’re going to experience your first werewolf rampage which is pretty wild. During this time your werewolf is going to act different and be pretty much uncontrollable. You won’t be able to get them to do any normal things like watch TV, use the bathroom or cook.

During this time you can do werewolf interactions and you’ll definitely want to get yourself some werewolf abilities especially since one can help your sims calm down and leave a rampage early.

Contract Werebies

Your final option to become a werewolf in The Sims 4 is for your sim to contract werebies but this isn’t something you can easily control and will happen more randomly. This is going to happen when you get bit by a werewolf like Greg and the game will let you know that this is happening through giving you an uncomfortable buff.

If you don’t want to become a werewolf you should act the second you see this buff and go straight to the bar in Moonwood mill and ask for the werebies remedy. You can also check out the information board in the world and read the werebies advisory for more information.

Going down the werebies path is going to take longer than asking a sim for a cursed bite but does have the added benefit of having a way to stop it before it gets too far.

How to Become a Werewolf in The Sims 4 With Cheats

There are a bunch of sims 4 werewolves cheats that you need to know as well, including the cheats to become a werewolf or stop being a werewolf if that’s what you want. These cheats are really simple to use and will expedite your werewolf experience.

The two cheats you need to know are:

• Make Sim a Werewolf: traits.equip_trait trait_occultwerewolf
• Turn Werewolf Back to a Sim: traits.remove_trait trait_occultwerewolf

These are awesome if you accidentally become a werewolf through werebies or just want to go back to being a regular sim.
