The Sims 4: Restaurant Perk Point and Perk Point Cheats (Dine Out)
With the addition of The Sims 4: Dine Out we are able to own and run a restaurant where you will need to manage employees and ensure that customers have a positive experience. Every customer needs to leave in a great mood or what is even the point?
The best part of this system is that you are able to purchase restaurant perk rewards that you can buy with perk points that are earned through serving customers in different ways. These perks are going to do simple things like make people eat quicker, make them more patient, or decrease the money you spend on ingredients.
You can check out the cheats for these perk points here!
How to Gain Perk Points
There are a few ways that you are able to gain perk points for your restaurant and all of them are just simple things you’re doing while your restaurant is open. These include things like welcoming guests, checking up on a table, or even just having a group of guests leave happy.
Types of Restaurant Perk Points
Curious Customers
“Make customers occasionally wish for a recommendation on what to order from management and unlocks the ability to give recommendations through the recommend dish social.”
Having curious customers will cost you 250 perk points and it’s goal is to make more customers ask to get a dish recommended by the owner. This is nice because you can pick something a bit more expensive and interacting with customers will increase your perk points.
Additional Waiter #1
“Unlocks the ability to hire one additional waiter within the manage employees window.”
This perk point will be one of the most valuable since you can have a second waiter, however, most of the wait will come from your chefs so you may want to get that first. This perk will cost you 350 perk points.
Ingredient Quality
“Unlocks the ability to choose the quality of meal ingredients.”
Being able to increase your ingredient quality is a really good perk since it lets you switch between food qualities to improve experience or lower costs for your restaurant. This is going to cost you 500 perk points and is a great option for early on so you can have better quality ingredients.
Meal Rush
“For 24 hours, more customers will stop in to eat at your restaurant.”
This perk point will cost 500 perk points and will actually double how many customers you will see in your restaurant. This shouldn’t be purchased unless you have enough waiters and chefs to handle the work but it can help you earn a lot of money rather quickly.
Surplus Harvest
“Take advantage of a surplus harvest. The cost of ingredients is discounted for 24 hours.”
The surplus harvest perk will cost you 500 perk points and only lasts 24 hours. During this time it will heavily reduce the cost of your ingredients so you can boost your profits. This is valuable if purchased right when you open and you stay open as long as possible.
Patient Patrons
“Makes customers easier to impress with quick service and a willing to wait longer before they get upset at slow service.”
A patient patron is a good patron, this perk will cost you 600 perk points and will make customers less angry when they have to wait for their food. This is a great option for early on when you are just growing your business.
Additional Chef
“Unlocks the ability to hire one additional chef with thee manage employees window. Don’t forget to place a second chef station!”
This is a great option for when your restaurant is growing and you need a second person to start cooking. This is not necessary for a while but it can increase your ability to churn out food quickly. You will need to h ave a second chef station to have a chef work. This will cost you 750 perk points.
Curiouser Customers
“Increases how often customers request dish recommendations.”
This perk is going to cost 750 perk points and will make customers ask for recommendations more often. This will help you choose more items for customers and earn more perk points.
Additional Waiter #2
“Unlocks the ability to hire one additional waiter within the manage employees window.”
If you notice that customers are waiting forever to be served in your restaurant, it’s time to get another waiter. This will cost you 900 perk points and will give you your 3rd spot for a waiter. This probably won’t be necessary unless you have a large restaurant but can be good for larger establishments.
Inspirational Speech
“Unlocks the inspirational speech social interaction which can be used to inspired your employees.”
The inspirational speech is just okay, it will let you give a special speech to your employees and can boost their morale and make them work more happily. I would wait to purchase this perk until later in my restaurant’s life since this costs 900 perk points.
Fast Eaters
“Customers will eat their meals faster.”
This is an awesome perk point because customers take forever to eat and take their sweet time. It is going to cost you 1250 perk points but will definitely be worth it so you can turnover tables more quickly.
Lower Employee Training Costs
“Lowers the cost of training for employees.”
This perk point will let you train your employees for way less money, cutting the cost of training in half. This is going to cost you 1500 perk points and is definitely worth it because well trained customers mean higher ratings and more income.
Ingredient Discount #1
“Permanently lowers the cost of ingredients by a small amount.”
This is the first of two ingredient discounts that you can purchase and this one costs 1800 perk points and it will decrease your cost by around 20%. This is going to help you earn way more money from meals since it won’t cost you as much to create the meals you are selling.
Well Funded Foodies
“Customers will more often choose the more expensive menu items.”
This perk is going to cost 1850 perk points and will make it more likely that sims will purchase the most expensive item on your restaurants menu. This is nice because a lot of customers will choose less expensive items and this will earn you a bit more money.
Tidy Tippers
“Customers will tip a bit extra on top of every meal.”
This is one is interesting because you are actually able to purchase it more than once which increases the money you’ll get every time. This perk costs 2000 perk points and will make it so you earn a bit more money on each meal you sell.
Ingredient Discount #2
“Permanently lowers the cost of ingredients by a large amount.”
This perk is going to cost you 3600 perk points and will decrease your ingredient cost for each meal. This is great because it will obviously increase your profit to help you make more money. You’ll have to save your perk points for quite a while to earn this but it will definitely be worth it.
Well Managed
“Lowers the chance of bad events happening at the restaurant while your sim is away.”
If your sim has a family (or just a life), or multiple businesses they aren’t going to be able to be at their restaurant every single time it is open. Having this well managed perk is going to be extremely helpful. It is a perk that costs 4500 perk points but this can be valuable if you want to spend less time actively managing your employees and being on the lot.
The Chef’s Hat
“Unlocks an additional chef hat for your sims.”
The Chef’s Hat perk costs 5000 perk points and is the most expensive one. This is the least necessary perk point because it really is just a different type of chef’s hat. It won’t earn you more money, it won’t give you more stars, you’ll just look cool.
