Since this game is all about playing with life your sim’s job is extremely important which is why it’s so necessary to have sims 4 career mods in your game. We have had the same boring career options for so long with things like the business career which has been here for years and we rarely get new ones anymore.

Your sims deserve to have a better time when they’re at work with more interesting career options like being a chocolatier or a registered nurse. There are many medical careers that you can take in real life, but in The Sims 4 the only option we have is the doctor career. Why not let your sims have more specific medical careers? These sims will start as a youtube nobody and will eventually work toward choosing a path where they can become a gamer, a DIY channel, a daily vlogger or an MUA!

A physical therapist is a medical career where you help people improve their quality of life or help people after an injury to get back on track. These sims will need good people skills and will want to enjoy spending time with others and will work 9-5 every weekday.

8. Filmmaker Career

The interesting thing about this career is that the first stage has your sims as a “film student” where they’re working from 4pm to 10pm every weekday but they are only earning a sad 3 simoleons per hour.

There are so many people IRL working as compliance officers who are there to make sure that everyone is playing by the rules and companies are working the way they are supposed to. Your sims can work through this career too and will be working 9-5 from Monday to Friday.

The auto shop career is a funny one because as of writing this we still don’t have drivable cars in the game, but it is a fun job for your sims to have. Your sims will start off as an automotive service advisor and will be able to work their way up toward the master mechanic level of the career. Throughout the middle they’ll get to specialize in things like automotive air conditioning.

Event planners are a huge business and help people celebrate the biggest parts of their lives like weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. The key to this career is being talented in tons of different skills so you can truly impress others and get their business. We do have a doctor career that we got with The Sims 4: Get to Work, however, this is an active career which means that you have to go to work with your sims sometimes if you want them to get promoted. This physician career is a great rabbit hole career option to completely replace this and let your sims still be a doctor that can earn a good income without having to go to work with them.

These sims are going to be working with a ton of information that they are responsible for organizing and using it to make their company more money. Being a gymnastics coach is a really fun option for your sims as their job where they can teach other sims their passions. Who wouldn’t want to be a chocolatier? I’ll be honest since the announcement of Haunted Chocolatier I’ve been wishing I could be a chocolate maker IRL so I guess I’ll just let my sims do it instead. These sims are going to need to keep up their baking skill and be willing to work early in the morning to make sure that the goodies are there for purchase.

Do you want your sims to be a high up career in medicine without being a physician? Well, a physician assistant is a great choice for your sims. These sims are going to work long hours, around 12 hours a day, but they can make over 100 simoleons per hour so it’ll be worth it. However, since your sim won’t be home much you’ll probably need to hire a maid.

17. Dental Hygienist

Did you know that sims have teeth too? Revolutionary! These sims are going to need to get their virtual teeth cleaned by someone so why not have your sims become a dental hygienist? These sims are going to work regular 9-5 hours and make a decent amount of money per hour so it’s a great option instead of using money cheats to earn income.

The thing I love about downloading sims 4 career mods is that sometimes they cover careers that will never be in the game proper. A career like wind turbine technician is so random and EA would most likely never add this to their game because it isn’t popular or mainstream. The next option is a single level career where your sims will go straight into being a pilot without having to work their way through all the initial stages of a career. This is fun for storytelling and lets your sims just go straight to work and start earning the big bucks.

Advertising is the key to making companies money and honestly, you’re getting advertised to each and everyday. Working in advertising is a fun career where your sims are going to need to be creative but also logical and will love to have their work praised by their bosses.

These sims are going to need to understand the programming skill and be willing to work on their computer for most of their day.

Nursing is a very popular career option in the real world and allows people to try and help as many others as they can. You can choose to become a nurse practitioner, work in education at the hospital, work in education at the university level or go into management.

33. Animal Care Career

There is nothing more fun than working with animals and making sure that they are safe and cared for at any given time. The animal care career starts your sims off as a dog walker and eventually they’ll work their way up to kennel staff and other jobs that are necessary to keep animals safe and healthy.

34. Podiatrist

Do your sims have a foot fetish? If so, this is the job for them! A podiatrist is a specialty doctor who works with the feet and deals with anything that may go wrong with your little piggies. This is a single level career where your sims will immediately be earning 126 simoleons per hour but they will need to work 12 hour days to get the job done.

35. Phlebotomist

This career almost didn’t make the list because of my extremely blood phobia, but a phlebotomist works with blood in medical settings. That’s all I can say about this one without getting woozy.

36. General Surgeon

As someone who has watched years of Grey’s Anatomy I’ve always been fascinated by the world of general surgery. These sims will be working with all sorts of illnesses and doing surgery on many different parts of the body instead of being extremely specialized. Your sims will need their logic skill and a keen eye for disease.

This career is such a fun one for sims who don’t want a traditional job, being a body artist is a way of life. Your smile is a very important part of your overall aesthetic and making sure your smile is beautiful is hard work. The game developer career is great and your sims are going to need to earn the video gaming skill and make sure they’re good at that as well as programming. They’ll spend tons of time on the computer, and honestly would do well if they’re a loner.

45. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

The next option is a single level career where your sims are going to earn 208 simoleons per hour as a face, mouth and jaw surgeon. These sims are going to earn more money than a traditional dentist and they’ll definitely have to earn it by working 12 hour days.

46. OB/GYN Career

Babies must be born even in The Sims! To have babies you’ll need to have an OB/GYN who can deliver babies and deal with all other uterus issues. These sims are going to start out at a registered nurse and eventually work their way up to be able to earn more money.

Stock brokers are there to help people get richer and make money for more people out there. This sim is going to start off as a business intern working five days a week from 9-5 and can work their way up to earn even more as time goes on.

50. Paralegal

Did you know that paralegals do so much work to make sure that lawyers are able to get their work done? Paralegals do much of the legal research and drafting of motions to make sure that a lawyer can get their job done quickly and effectively. A paralegal is a great job for your sims who don’t quite want to be a lawyer and want a predictable schedule.

If your sims are loving, caring and empathetic you may want to put them into the single level personal care aide career. These sims are going to need to help other sims with their basic daily tasks and they’ll be working 12 hour days, four days a week.

The adventurer career is a fun one where you’ll get to choose from either the educator branch or you can live your Night At The Museum dreams and be a museum caretaker. These sims have potential to earn a high income without having to work crazy long hours.

53. Paparazzi Career

There is a huge part of me that wishes there was a Paparazzi active career in The Sims 4: Get Famous, how fun would it be to follow around Judith Ward until you get the perfect shot? This career is a fun one where your sims are going to be working on weekends and won’t make tons of money at first but can get more eventually.

54. Accounting Career

Accounting is important to make sure that individuals and businesses are paying their taxes and keeping their books organized. An accountant (not a spicy one, a regular one) is a nice job with high job security and you can start off as a bookkeeper making 25 simoleons per hour.

The next option on our list of sims 4 career mods is the Orthotist and Prosthetist medical career. This is a one level career for your storytelling so you can give it to sims and just have them work this job for life. This is nice because you don’t have to work toward promotions and can just get your money and go home.

56. Home Health Aide

One of the most important jobs out there is a Home Health Aide. They help people who can’t do many of their everyday care tasks like cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and more. Sims who have this job are going to work 12 hour days but only three days a week and will have an income of 25 simoleons.

57. Operations Research Analyst

We have another one level career where your sims can be an operations research analyst. These sims are going to be looking to solve problems all day long and will get paid well for it. They’ll be working 9-5 from Monday to Friday and earning 84 simoleons per hour.

58. Obstetrician and Gynecologist

We’ve already had an OB/GYN sims 4 career mod on this list, however, that is a traditional career where you work your way up. This OB/GYN career is different because it is a one level career where your sims don’t have to work their way up, they just get to go straight into their job earning high income with 208 simoleons per hour. They will be working 12 hour days though, so they’ll earn a lot but they’ll have to work a lot too.

59. Paediatrician

If you want your sims to be a doctor but your sims are big fans of children, maybe they should become a Paediatrician! These are doctors that work with babies and children until they’re fully grown and focus specifically on child issues. Your sims are going to be earning 175 simoleons per hour with 12 hour days from Monday to Friday.

60. Office Secretary Vintage Career

Next up on our list of sims 4 career mods is the Office Secretary vintage career which is a fun choice. These types of vintage careers are great if you’re playing a decades challenge! Your sims are going to start off earning 10 simoleons per hour working from 9 to 5 each weekday.

There are many levels of nursing but one of the most prestigious and high earning levels is a nurse practitioner. These nurses are able to earn more money and have more responsibility too. Your sim working as a nurse practitioner will work 12 hour days and can earn 109 simoleons per hour which is an awesome income per day.

65. Graphic Novelist Career

The graphic novelist or comic artist career is a really fun one where your sims start off as a comic store clerk. These sims are eventually going to get to choose if they want to be a graphic novelist or a comic artist and both can earn you good income.

When you’re working through this career your sims are going to need their painting skill as well as their writing skill to be able to get promotions and start earning more money.

66. Optometrist

Your eyes are very important to your overall health and your sims can now become an eye doctor. Working as an optometrist is a great option because you can earn good income without the twelve hour days that you have with some of the other medical careers. It would be a lot easier to raise a family with a career like this compared to a nurse practitioner who works 12 hour days.

The pharmacist career is a great option for your sims with a 400 simoleons per hour income at the top level which is amazing. These sims are making sure that other sims can get their medicines properly and in a timely manner.

If you have The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat you’ll even have to earn the herbalism skill which makes total sense if your sims are working as a pharmacist.

These sims are going to start as a tattoo apprentice where they’re learning the ropes and will eventually work their way up the ranks. This single level career where your sims will earn 105 simoleons per hour working with numbers to try and solve problems. They’ll have a nice predictable weekly schedule which is awesome for having consistency in your gameplay.

Many people have issues with speech and there are people who have their entire career being focused on helping people with speech issues including stutters, language delays and even helping people who have had medical emergencies like a stroke learn to talk again. Therapy doesn’t have to consist of two people sitting on a couch, it’s a new era of the internet where you can have online therapy. Your sims can work as an online therapist where they can earn 110 simoleons per hour which is a great income.

As someone with back issues a chiropractor is a necessary career in my life and in my game. Sims who are working as a chiropractor are going to start off at a mall kiosk earning 15 simoleons per hour and they’ll eventually work toward being a principle chiropractor where they’re making good money.

81. Prosthodontist

A prosthodontist is someone who works with teeth but more intensely specialized than a regular dentist. They’re all about putting implants into a person’s mouth and making them have a better time with their oral health. These sims are going to work four days a week with 12 hour days where they are earning 208 simoleons per hour.

82. Plastic Surgeon Career

In the plastic surgeon career your sims are going to start earning a salary of 304 simoleons per day as a plastic surgery resident and will eventually get to choose between aesthetic plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. In the aesthetic branch your sims can focus on body contouring, hair transplants and more and the reconstructive route will have sims replacing limbs and doing trauma surgery.

83. Marriage and Family Therapist

Therapists are doing amazing work to help people in their lives and get their relationships in order. Marriage and family therapists are going to earn 49 simoleons per hour and work predictable forty hours a week. They’ll need to have a good ear for listening and really like people to enjoy this career.

84. Real Estate Career

Working in real estate is a very common career option in the real world, so why not have your sims selling real estate in the game. Your sim is going to start off as a real estate receptionist where they can earn 20 simoleons per hour with an 8 to 4 schedule. Eventually they’ll get to work toward being a real estate agency owner where they can earn 500 per hour.

85. Mechanical Engineer

If your sims have a keen eye for design and love to figure out how things work, they might want to check out the mechanical engineer option for sims 4 career mods. We’ve got vanities, we’ve got make up clutter, but we don’t have a make up artist career in The Sims 4. Working in retail is one of the most common careers in the real world, and your sims can now start a career in retail. They’ll start as a trainee who is earning 12 simoleons per hour and can eventually work their way up to being in management and eventually owning your own retail franchise where you can earn 350 simoleons per hour.

Being able to communicate with others is so important but when there are different languages present that can be difficult. Your sims can work as an interpreter and translator to make sure that people are able to properly communicate with one another. Your sims will get to choose between tracks like TV and Film Design or In Home Interior Design which is super fun.

94. Archaeology Career

With Jungle Adventure we got the archaeology skill where you can learn a lot about the world but there is no career to go along with it. This career starts with your sims as an unpaid volunteer until they can eventually earn a pretty decent income with this.

95. Software Developer

This single level software developer career is a great option if you want sims to be into programming but not have to work through the tech guru career. This will earn your sims 107 simoleons per hour with a nice 9 to 5 schedule which is awesome.

96. Registered Nurse

Nurses are a very common career in the real world and your sims can now be a registered nurse int he game too. This is a single level career where your sims are going to earn 73 simoleons per hour but will need to work three days a week for twelve hour shifts. They do get weekends off which is very nice!

97. Medical and Health Services Manager

Next up is a medical and health services manage who will earn 100 simoleons per hour with 40 hours a week for a really incredible income coming in. These sims are going to be planning everything to keep the medical field moving forward in an organized fashion.

98. IT Manager

The IT Manager career is a single level career option where your sims are going to be working with computers and making sure that others are doing a great job. They are going to earn 146 simoleons per hour in this career which is a great income and they’ll get their weekends off too!

99. Animal Rescue Career

The animal rescuer career is a five level career without any branch choices which keeps it nice and simple. Your sims are going to need the pet training skill to get themselves promoted in this career and will eventually move forward to become a guru rescuer who can earn 750 simoleons per day.

100. Psychiatrist

The difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist is the ability to prescribe medications so these sims have a lot more going on in their career than just therapy. Your psychiatrist sims are going to be earning 208 simoleons per hour and will be working 12 hour days so they can earn a whole bunch of money.

101. Rheumatologist Career

The rheumatologist career starts your sims off by having them be “in school” getting a bachelor of medicine where they’ll get 12 simoleons per hour which is not a great income. They’ll be working toward their career and once they’ve “graduated” they’ll get to choose if they want to work in research or be a practitioner and will earn great money either way.

102. Information Security Analyst

Your online security is extremely important and should definitely be a career you should consider for your sims. This is a single level career that will have your sims earning 99 simoleons per hour working with computers and keeping networks safe.

103. Nurse Anesthetist

A nurse anesthetist works under a doctor and is able to distribute medicine and anesthesia to patients. Since this is a high importance career these sims can earn 174 simoleons per hour which is a great income. Working 12 hours a day and only 3 days a week so they’ll get to have a great weekly income.
