Having a career in The Sims 4 is a huge part of game play and a really great way to make the game feel more like real life. However, sometimes careers cam be extremely repetitive and a little bit frustrating.

Being able to cheat your career promotions can save you a lot of time and give your sim the exact career that you feel your sim deserves! This guide is going to go over all of the career cheats, as well as cheats to get promoted in part time jobs and in kid’s school!

How to Use Cheats

Before we get started with any of our cheat guides, we like to make sure you know how to properly open up the cheat dialogue box and use the cheat code that will allow all other cheats to work.

To open the cheat box, you need to hit ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard. Important Note: Mac users hit control not command! Once you see the white bar at the top which is the cheat dialogue box, type in testingcheats true which will allow all other cheats to start working and most won’t work if you don’t first use this cheat!

How to Unlock Career Reward Objects

There are a number of items in game that you have to get to a certain level of a career to be able to unlock, thankfully, there is a way for you to unlock the career reward objects in The Sims 4!

All you need to do is hit ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard and type in testingcheats true into the cheat dialogue box that pops up at the top of the screen.

Then you may need to use the buy debug cheat as well just to ensure that these items appear, so I always just do it anyway. Type bb.showhiddenobjects into the cheat box. Then type bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement to unlock all of the career reward objects!
