This aspiration guide is one of the more fun ones to write because it’s an aspiration that not a lot of simmers actually know about. The hidden grilled cheese aspiration was added to the Sims 4 during a patch and has been a hidden gem of fun times ever since.

How to Unlock The Grilled Cheese Aspiration

To unlock this aspiration you just need to cook and eat three grilled cheese sandwiches in a row. When you’ve unlocked the aspiration you’ll see a glorious notification appear in the top right hand corner telling you that the aspiration is officially unlocked.

To switch from your current aspiration to the new one (don’t worry, you can always go back to your previous aspiration without losing progress) go to the aspiration panel in the bottom right corner and click change aspiration. You’ll now find the grilled cheese aspiration appearing under near the food category alongside the master mixologist and master chef.

Grilled Cheese Aspiration Levels

Level One: Gouda Greenhorn

• Talk to 3 Different Sims About Grilled Cheese
• Eat 10 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Talking to 3 different sims about grilled cheese is really simple and can be found now under your friendly interactions menu.

Eating this many grilled cheese sandwiches may sound simple, but it can actually take a long time and your sim is bound to gain a few pounds since you’ll be non-stop eating grilled cheese for the next few days of your sim’s life.

Level Two: Cheddar Connoisseur

• Eat 10 Excellent Quality Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
• Cook 3 Group Servings of Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
• Talk to 5 Different Sims About Grilled Cheese

Eating some excellent quality grilled cheese sandwiches isn’t that hard to accomplish. You just need to get your sim feeling inspired to boost their cooking ability and make sure that they have a decently high cooking skill.

Cooking 3 group servings will probably get you to the point of cooking 10 excellent quality sandwiches so once you eat them you’ll finish this section real quick! Let’s just hope that other sims don’t start to get annoyed because all you talk about is grilled cheese.

Level Three: Muenster Maniac

• Eat a Grilled Cheese Sandwich in Space
• Cook an Excellent Quality Grilled Cheese Sandwich
• Talk to the Grim Reaper About Grilled Cheese

This level of the aspiration is when things really get difficult, since you need to be around a dead sim and get your sim in space in order to complete it. Cooking an excellent quality grilled cheese sandwich is an easy task by comparison.

Since you need to be around a sim who dies in order for the grim reaper to appear, you’re going to need to plan accordingly. A few ideas include setting someone on fire, feeding them to a cowplant, or building a fence around a pool that the other sim is in and waiting for them to drown. Then the grim reaper will come to take them away and you’ll have an opportunity to talk to the grim reaper about your favourite food!

To complete the eat a grilled cheese in space part of this aspiration, you’re going to need to buy a rocket which costs §5,000 to buy and another §1,000 to build so it’s a bit expensive. It will also take a bit of extra time because building a rocket in the sims 4 doesn’t happen very quickly.

Now, you must put a grilled cheese sandwich in your inventory once your rocket is ready to be launched, and you can click on the rocket and choose “Eat a Grilled Cheese Sandwich in Space” and you’ll complete that section!

Grilled Cheese Aspiration Reward

When you finally complete the grilled cheese aspiration in the sims 4, you’ll be awarded with the Melt Master reward trait, sounds cool, right? Well, it is!

This new trait gives your sims the ability to paint images of grilled cheese sandwiches that are beautiful and you can cover your entire house in images of grilled cheese.

The best part of this reward trait? Well, you can click on your sim and click “summon grilled cheese” which means a grilled cheese sandwich will appear whenever you want and your sim will have food they don’t have to cook forever.
