The Sims 4: Movie Hangout Stuff
Movie hangout stuff is a great stuff pack for The Sims 4 because it adds a really fun gameplay element and some really great and fun furniture. The entire style of this pack is super bohemian and colourful, being one of the most fun stuff packs that we’ve ever gotten in the game.
This pack adds a giant outdoor projector TV screen as well as a popcorn maker to the game that can make sure that you have something fun to do on the weekend with all of your sims while they wear the newest beautiful colourful clothing.

The first gameplay object in The Sims 4: Movie Hangout Stuff is the popcorn machine where your sims can cook four types of popcorn to enjoy any time, or while they are watching a movie. All of these popcorn types have the chance of burning where they will be gross!

Projector Screens
The main gameplay object that came with Movie Hangout is of course the giant projector screens in the game. These are great because you can create beautiful outdoor cinemas like James Turner did in this video!
These giant projects have five types of movies for your sims to watch including romance, family, horror, comedy or action and two to choose from in each genre.

These movie options are also available to regular TVs and not just the projectors allowing you to watch them whenever. You also have a watch movie with option for you to choose multiple sims to watch with instead of just watching alone.
After watching a movie your sim will get a moodlet depending on how they felt about the movie. There are 5 types of moodlets that are going to have an effect on your sims mood and they are the following:

- Interesting Flick
- Boring Movie
- Genre Staple
New Social Interactions
Since your sims can now watch movies they can of course talk about those movies and there are quite a few new social interactions regarding movies for your sims to do. They include the following:

Final Thoughts
Movie hangout stuff is definitely one of my favourite stuff packs for The Sims 4 because watching movies together makes the game feel real to me. I love having kids come home from school and putting on Superkids: Cortex Catastrophe and watching it to get their fun up before dinner and homework time. It’s just overall a fun time!
