The Sims 4: How to Read to Child

One of the cutest interactions in the game is when you get a sim in The Sims 4 to read to their child and this is necessary in some aspirations. This is something you’ll need to do in both the Big Happy Family Aspiration as well as the Successful Lineage Aspiration so it’s important to know how you can read to a child.

How to Read to Child

Reading to your child is actually quite easy and all you are going to need is a bookcase that has at least one children’s book inside it. The children’s book are differentiated by being white and purple instead of having more unique covers.

You can also purchase a children’s book by clicking on a bookcase and choosing purchase books and sorting by children’s books. Once you have one of these books you’ll need to click on the bookcase and choose read to child and choose one of the children’s books.

At this point you’ll be able to choose more than one child to read to if you want, or you can just choose one child. You may need to read more than one time to your children in order to finish this part of your aspiration.
