For a lot of simmers a goal for each family they play is to see how much money they can make. The fabulously wealthy aspiration is a really awesome choice for these types of players in The Sims 4.
This aspiration doesn’t have a lot to it, it’s just about earning money and having a ton of money in your household funds.
Traits That Might Help
Every aspiration in The Sims 4 has a few traits that are going to help you complete it quicker, however, there aren’t any that are directly correlated with this aspiration. However, you can choose your aspirations based on how you want to make money.
For example, if you want to make most of your money through painting you can choose creative. If you want to becoming a video gamer, you may want to choose geek. It all depends how you want to earn the money for this aspiration.
Shrewd Reward Trait
When a sim finishes any aspiration they are going to be given a brand new reward trait. When you finish the fabulously wealthy aspiration you’ll be given the shrewd reward trait.
A sim who has this reward trait is going to get a bit of money each month which equates to 5% of their household funds. So, let’s say you have 20,000 in your household funds and you have this reward trait, well the game will give you 1,000 on top as interest.
This is really awesome if you plan on playing for a long time and want to keep a sim alive for a longer period because you can keep earning money for no effort.
Stages of the Aspiration
Level One: Going for Not Broke
- Have Earned 5,000 Simoleons
- Have 10,000 Simoleons in Reserve
This aspiration has two focuses, the first is to have earned money. You can earn this money in any way, meaning it can come from a regular job in the game, or a part time job, and this also includes making money from freelancing or odd jobs.
This also includes any “side hustle” type income your sim may make. This can be from woodworking, from painting, from licensing songs, etc.
To finish that part of the aspiration you’ll need to have earned 5,000 simoleons from your job or from other means in the game.
The other aspect of this aspiration is having money in reserve. This just means having money in your household funds.
So, to complete this part of the aspiration you’ll need to have earned 5,000 simoleons and have 10,000 simoleons in your household funds.
Level Two: Learning Earning
- Have 20,000 Simoleons in Reserve
- Have Earned 25,000 Simoleons
In this part of the aspiration you’ll need to have earned at least 25,000 simoleons from your job or from random ways to make money. You’ll also need to have 20,000 simoleons in your household funds.
Level Three: Well Off
- Have 35,000 Simoleons in Reserve
- Have Earned 75,000 Simoleons
There really isn’t much to this aspiration and it just continues along the same path. You’ll need to have 35,000 simoleons in your sim’s household funds and have earned a total of 75,000 simoleons.
Level Four: Fabulously Wealthy
- Have 50,000 Simoleons in Reserve
- Have Earned 200,000 Simoleons
To complete this aspiration your sim is going to need to have earned a total of 200,000 simoleons across their lifetime which is a huge amount of money. You’ll probably need to have a regular job and a second source of income to get this done.
Finally, you’ll need to have 50,000 simoleons in your household funds, meaning you’ll be able to spend most of the money you make.
Although this aspiration isn’t the most complicated it can be a really helpful one since you do get that shrewd reward trait that can help you grow your money which is the best way to get fabulously wealthy in the game. Have fun playing The Sims 4 and complete this aspiration with ease.
